What sort of dress would suit my body type?

Im about 5"8, a very slim size 10, im quite flat chested- size 30B, i have medium length dark hair and am quite fair skinned, i have long legs and would quite like to show off my back. What colour amd style of dress would suit me and flatter me the most? Its for my school prom but its a sorta smart/casual thing, also any good places to get (reasonably priced!) dresses? (in the UK)

It depend on whether you want to accentuate your body type or make it look different to what it is. A cocktail length dress with soft ruffles on a bias cut would emphasise your legs and soften your boy-ish frame. If you wanted to wear a longer dress something with a pinched waist (or you could use a large belt accessory) and a slight fishtail would give the illusion of curves. With your skin and hair you could probably carry bold colours, but be careful when choosing shades of red and dark colours as they can make fair skin look washed out. If all else fails, take a couple of honest friends to a dress store and try everything on until you find something that makes their jaws drop! :-) Good luck!

What about something like this? This will show off you shoulders and back if you wear your hair up, and will also show off your legs too! The dress if from Topshop (you can find it on their website) it's quite cheep too and it's perfect for smart casual. I think if you're quite tall and slim, you could really pull off a long dress which figure hugs you a bit. Just go and try some on in the shops and you may be suprised! I think any colour really, it depends on your skin colour. As for the shoes, a nice simple court shoe with a heal would look fab! Don't do boots with a dress, it looks too hookerish lol.
