im going into 8th grade this year...completly new school

i really dont care that much about being popular but how do i make friends i knoe go up and talk to people but i did that last year and they laughed in my face...lol.....anywyas any style tips or hair tips or makeup tips or any tips for 8th grade???

just talk to people that sit next to you in class. that's a good way. and once you start talking to them...just ask them if you can sit with them at lunch. i'm sure they'll say yes. it'll also be a good way to meet other people. and besides you don't want to be in a corner eating lunch by yourself.

i'm the same way: goin into 8th....new school....from private school to public school......in a totally different state!!! ya it's overwelming but just relax and be yourself cuz that's the best way to meet friends. i like your haircut it's really cute on most face types and it popular right now. um for clothes it depends on your style but here's where i shop:

don't over-do it.

if you have zits use coverup.

wear a little bronzer if you're pale,

for eyes wear mascara and eyeliner(but not too much)

the most important thing is to carry yourself with confidence. and don't even worry about any mean people cuz just think "i'm lookin so hot right now and i'm gonna have sooo much fun this year". be positive. and chances are if you're yourself you will make friends who are like you. they'll probably have some things in common with you and remember: everyone's a new student at some time so they'll know what it feels like to be new. First, those people were mean snobs to laugh at you. Know that you are better than them becasue you don't laugh at new kids. Just be friendly to everyone and soon you will have friends.

As for style, don't change your look too much. Wear clothes that reflect your personality adn are "you". Before school, plan outfits, so you don't have to stress about what you are wearing.

Wear clothes that you see other girls your age in your town wearing, but really just be confident and show people the real you and dont try to be someone you are not.

Ok.. def. get some ballet flats. some longer shirts and skinny jeans. put a belt around ur waist and call it a day! accessories are always cute. never forget them. cute long bead necklace and some earings.. good to go. as far as hair.. the cut is adorable. always straighten and put in some wax to make it piecy.. you might want to have extra volume at the crown of ur head. i back comb there. and as far as making new friends... maybe u dont want to look shy.. say hello to people and stuff. but scope it out first and see who's wierd and who's not.. don't just jump into being friends with the first person u see. u don't know anything about them u know? just smile always smile. if people need to borrow a pen from u have one! and smileeee

But yeah, that's mean that they laughed at you. =/ Most people I know would just let you talk to them. You should probably talk to who ever you sit by in class. Or talk to someone that isn't talking to anyone either. Or go up to someone and say you like their shoes/shirt/pants or something.
