My hair is medium length (just below my shoulders) light brown, very fine and light, doesn't curl except for a little at the ends. I need a good look for a wedding on Saturday. Either half up or all down. I need some original ideas ladies and gentlemen!!! Please help!! Thanks :)

Up is always nice at a wedding, but just look though some hair magazines at the store, and you will find the look you want.

You could always straighten it, and put some volumizing mousse in it! Makes it look healthy and natural, and still pretty, and neat.

crimp it

do a bun or a pony tail to the side..its pretty kool...hope you have a good weddding

Style help please!!?

curl your hair with iron will look perfect

Style help please!!?

half up half down braid it the night before wet so its wavy

simple down with a few curls, or what you can get accented with a cute hairclip is always cute.

Go for a mohawk. (Hey, you said "original.")

Up, i just think ladies with shorter hair looks better when their hair is up.

Wear is back in one neat braid. Very chic.

I would suggest keeping it all down. The half up/down look is old and very unfashionable. Just use a flat iron (if you have one) and curl the ends some more and it'll look cute. Otherwise just blow dry it while it's wet until it dries all the way. That way it'll be really shiny and silky.

I personally like long straight hair. Simple can sometimes be very elegant.

How about.... using a curler to make about five curls about your head. That would make you look fab.

If it is YOUR wedding, go to a stylist and get it done professionally. They can do an up-do that will stay put.

If you are a guest, try a french twist. Very pretty and lasts a long time. Fine hair can go flat over the course of a long day, like a wedding.

buy you a good straightner and straight you hair that is going to make your hair look really pretty and if you want to do some high lights that will help a lot.

Well if it's for a wedding i'd put it almost half up....but before i put it up, i'd use heated tongs and put waves/curls in the ends then put it up, it's formal yet casual at the same time....just use some sort of curling product like the new heat activated one or just some mousse to give a liite volume although this style can look fine if you don't.

Good luck and enjoy the wedding

You could do down and straight but really straight using shine serum or spray and a flat iron. You could also pull it back after you've done this for a super sleek polished look. I'd do either one of these if it's a nicer wedding or you're planning on wearing a sophisticated dress (think black cocktail). The other thing you could do, if you can stand hairspray and your hair isn't too fine, is start at the bottom of your head (put the rest up with a clip) and use a medium barrel curling iron, like an inch/inch and a half and take small 2 inch sections and banana/spiral curl them by wrapping the hair around the barrel in an upward direction, holding for a few seconds, letting go and hairspraying. Repeat and spray every peice until you get the first layer down. Then just keep doing layer after layer of your hair until it's all done. Give it a final hairspray, let dry and then bend over and shake your head to loosen up the curls a little. You can even pin back some peices like bangs or sides when you're done. Hope that helps.

I have thin hair, also, and curling usually works for me, but I don't know why it doesn't work with you. For a wedding, try putting it in hot rollers and when you take them out, make them into spirals. Make sure you use LOTS AND LOTS of hairspray, even before you take the rollers out. You can finger-comb the curls to make them less springy, or you can pull your hair back in a ribbon or something, etc. And if all else fails, get your hair done professionally. Good luck.

Make a little part-not middle, but not too far over either-have have side swept bangs and either do little twists up top and have the rest down, or pull it to the nape of your neck and a little to one side and have it really curly.

Roller setting is always smart too because if you put enough setting lotion on it you usually never lose alll the curls even if the day is long.
