Medium hair into mohawk-like style?

I am a female with medium length black hair.

I saw a style on tv, when a girl had her hair into kind of a mohawk, but it wasnt shaved or anything, and it wasnt s traight up.

So, if you know how to do it, and can provide some pictures too, I'd be ery greatful.

I"m a guy with medium length hair who does the same thing sometimes. Put some gel or moose on each hand and push the sides up until it meats in the middle. Poke and prod with it until you get it to set like you want it. Flatten out the hairs that stick out on the sides and you are done.
