Hello, I'm Haley and I'm 12 years old. My hair is really thick and poofy. It's medimum length, almost to my shoulders. My friends say I need to get a stylist, But it's too expensive for me. I need ways to style my hair, and have a little variety. It has to be somthing i can do at home though. Please help me or give me some styling tips.
My Facial Features-
Lips- Dark pink, Kinda big
Eyes- Pretty nice Eyelashes, Sorta Long. Light Brown eyes.
Cheeks- I have a little bit of freckles, not very dark, hardly noticable
Nose- I have a Anime/Button nose, not too big or small
Eyebrows- Nice, not too thick, plucked
Please give me a style that would go with these features.

Don't wash it every day, but do condition it every day, I use Paul Mitchell. You can also use bed head, they have this product in a green bottle which helps it be super straight. Don't use an iron to straighten your hair, use an Ionic blow dryer, and a large round brush, specifically for blow drying, dont use the ones with the wide metal bristles, use one with narrow ones.

1) Blow dry on warm with a round brush (a brush with vents!) - it will sleek and straight and minimize the poof
2) After you wash, condition and towel dry, divide your hair into 6-8 sections. Twist each section into a mini bun and secure with hair band or hairpins. Remove a few hours later - beautiful spiral curls. If you brush it out, you'll get a natural wave
3)Pony tail - make a straight part on one side of your head (experiment for the best look). Create a pony tail with about three quarters of your hair and secure at ear level. Gather the rest of your hair and combine it with the first pony. Secure at the nape of your neck.

Always remeber the styling products, but dont overdo them. if you pull your hair back after a shower before you go to sleep you should wake up to less poofy hair. then just straighten it with a flat iorn. finish with shine sprey. Its not about any certain style its about the hair care in whole for it to look good. Playing with your hair and expierimenting with it is how your gunna learn what works and what dosent.

How can I style My thick, poofy, Medium length Hair? sounds just like my hair! the type of shampoo/conditioner you use can really help your hair be less poofy and more sleek. some good brands i've used are john frieda, biolage, and tressemme. a deep conditioner every week also works wonders- i use pantene pro v.
for styles, try scrunching your hair every once in a while- when it's wet, just use gel and let it air dry. this makes hair look less thick.
also try a half-ponytail. i use this style when my hair feels really thick, and it makes it look less so. with your pretty features i bet that would look cute.
one other thing if you know how to french braid pigtails would look really cute also!

How can I style My thick, poofy, Medium length Hair? darling. use bed head products if you have money. if you don't use infusium23 products. whatever you do, don't blow dry! it makes poofiness more...try brushing your hair BEFORE you shower and not after. if you can, try a fantastic sams or local barber and ask for a thinning. my hair was the exact same way then i let it grow and now it's not.
