Sophisticated, Modern Hair style (urgent)?

I am going to a bridal shower this weekend and want to do something different with my hair.

My hair description: just past the shoulder, fine hair, lots of it, wavy, medium brown, long side swept bang.

What sort of style or updo would look sophisticated but stylish on a 20 something gal? Thanks a lot!

I'd pull your sides up and do a cute hair clip. Or, I'd curl all of your hair, and pull it into a loose bun at the nape of your neck. That is really cute right now.

Or take your bangs and pull them straight back with bobby pins, and give them some height.

I like slicked back ponytails...They're timeless and you won't take away focus off the bride.

OK I absolutely love this style. Part your hair to the side and take the front section. Braid it until you reach the side of your head. Then pull the braid and the rest of your hair into a side ponytail. Curl the ponytail into loose waves and spray so it holds. Looks great and is SO quick.

I'd leave your side-swept bangs down and take the top part of your hair up into a half-pony. But heres the twist, put a few braids in the up-do part. =]

+++you can either take the half thats down and wave it a little with a curling iron, or just straighten it and drape it over one shoulder ^_^
