I am growing my short,layered 'do out,and it's more of a messy,medium length right now.Any styling tips?Thanks.

I have been working on that for over a year now...lol Very short, sort of pixie cut to about shoulder length now. I have found that keeping layers in my hair has helped. My stylist just blends the layers or re-layers it when I got in about every 2-3 months. Thankfully layered styles are in style. :) Sometimes I just mess it up a bit with Garnier Fructis Surf Wax (very small amount on damp hair) It works great with scrunching it for a soft wavy look. Sometimes straightening the front layers make it look longer and neater. Hope this helps!

The thing that i've been doing, since i am in that "in-between" stage as well, is i curl it a little bit on top and leave it kinda messy on the bottom. then i use a bobby pin and pin up just a little part on the side. i get a lot of compliments when i do this.

I had to slick it back with gel and wear a funky little ponytail one summer. Use fun hats if you have the face.

lots of things, number one will be :

MAKE SURE IT'S HEALTHY.

now on to the stuff you want to hear:

either hot rollers or velcro rollers. make sure to use something to protect the hair from heat.

tease it.

depends on your personality; you could get some funky cool hairpins and twist sections and pin in away from your face.

use a hair mud for that 'slept on' look.
