Clothes and hair really need help click on this?

please help me. im in the sixth grade with medium brown straight and a little below my shoulders hair. i need some new hairstyles and ways to wear clothes without buying any new ones. like layering ideas or styles to wear. for hairstyles i dont want anything really hard just cute simple and easy to do before i go 2 school.btw im very petite and my face is oval.dont just say be yourself it doesnt give me any advice on WHAT to wear.

Layer a couple shirts on one another for a diffrent look.

Get a plain white tee and wear a cute tank over top and some cute flats to go with it.

Dark Denim jeans go with any shirt well.

OMG when I was your age, it didnt matter. 80's is really in now though, so try a tunic shirt and rhinestoned jeans with army boots. Layered hair is hot, but natural long hair is nice too.

I've been to a few hairstylists and they told me to get a razor cut. I have short-on-the-verge-of-medium wavy dark brown hair and am completely lost on what I should be getting. Need help applying eye make-up.?

Hi, I saw this eye make-up look on In-Style.com but they don't explain how to copy it. The model has a face and eye shape similar to mine and I really want to try it out. Additional info....I have fair-medium skin, dark Auburn hair and hazel eyes. Click on the link and check out the pic of the model. trust me on this , youll need a TON of practice with this look, i think i can give you a few tips to make a similar look..

ok so first youre gonna put a tan shade all the way up to your brow line(pluck your eyebrows to make the browline go a little higher, it will hurt but you want the look so...? and dont overpluck,that sucks more than anything!),

then youre gonna take a light shade of pink and apply it on your eyelid all the way to the crease. after that, apply a brownish color in the crease with a thin eyeshadow brush. the next part is very tricky and youll get veryyy frustrated with it, but once you get used to it it will be sooo worth it!

ok, youre gonna take black eyeliner(pencil, liquid is so hard to use) and youre gonna apply it right under your eyeball . not the part under the eyelashes, that other part . . youll find it . haha .

anyways , then youre gonna put thick black mascara (probably lash blast by covergirl) on your top eyelashes.

VOILA! ahah , and for lips and stuff use like a clear pink gloss . itll look amazing!

okay ill try to break it down:

1. line your upper and lower lash lines with thick, dark brown liner

2. apply a bronze/pinkish shimmery shadow, starting in the corner and cover the whole lid

3. then sweep the color up towards your eyebrow using a brush

4. apply super thick mascara (not clumpy, thick)

thats how i would do it !!!

wild guess....

try putting the eye-liner not so dark when you first start a the beging of your eye(closest to you nose) then go darker and make it spread out a very tiny bit as you go farther on to the eye. Looking for the right eye-liner is hard, it depends on were your going, if say for late at night use a very dark black or dark purple, as for day use a brighter color... try to pop out! you the new blue eye liner or some hot color like that **there getting back into fashon**!~!

We have a winter formal around the begining of Febuary. I know that it is a long way away but I need some help pn picking out a dress. I have a fair skin tone, medium length dark brown hair, green eyes, have a very curvy body, a little extra weight. Also I am about 5'8. Get a nice assymetrical dress that is around knee length (to show off calves). A halter would be nice if you were going to wear a medium-large sized necklace. If you're going for a sweetheart or strapless/ straight across cut, go with a small-meduim sized necklace (Add a nice green necklace if the color of your dress is brown.)

The color should be like a neutral color. Don't go to bright. Fair skin + bright colours aren't too great.

Also, curl your hair and put it up to show a neckline.

I'm in an eyeshadow funk?

so, I get an eyeshadow and I stay with it for ages, had a hot pink for awhile, pink and orange and now im into browns light black eyeliner and Im into the thick black eyelashes. I have really light skin dark brown eyes and a medium brown shade of hair. I'm not afraid of change I just don't know what would work for me, would black and pink even be an option?? I'm just tired of having the same style for what seems like ages. Suggestions?

Okay, so it sounds like you just need a clue in on how to create diffrerent looks. First, invest in both a pencil black and a liquid black eyeliner. I personally find that some of the cheap 99 cent brands do the best like Wet n Wild or Jordana or even Nicka. NYX is good, too. The black and pink combo can work two ways. You can inkblot by surrounding your eyelids and lower lids with the pink then extend dramatically with the black from your eyebrow to your cheek bones, but use a brush so the black ends softly, just trickling to your highlights. Cleopatra also looks great too, you know? That's an easy angle of liquid liner, black powder lids, and pink all the way up to the brow. Some people use the makeup half and half horizontally on their lids, too for a punk rock thing. Honestly this is the day and agemof hypercolored pigments, so anything in the rainbow is open. Your best bet is a trip to CVS to pick up the brightest colors you can find. Have fun! The color wheel is your oyster!

Why not go to a store like K-Mart or Walmart or Target and grab yourself a whole bunch of cheap eyeshadows and then have some fun playing with all sorts of different colors? And I mean colors you may have never even thought of trying or even mixing different color combinations to create something totally new! I do it all the time and yes, some I just don't like but I've also been surprised to find that a color I never would have chosen turned out to be my favorite. You never know, you might find something you love.

I get blah like that sometimes, you just need inspiration. You would look great in a green pigment applied right on the eyelid over the eyeball.

Check out Sephora and look at some of their colors. If that doesn't work check out the more basic sites such as Almay and Milani.

i have a similar hair colour etc to what you described - i change my eye shadow to match my outfits, my fav colours are deep purple, smoky, or soft pink.

i've even included my stages to creating smoky eyes (please ignore if you feel its not suitable for you)

when i go for smoky eyes i always follow these stages:

- black liquid eye liner (with small flicks at the end of my eyes)

- add a neutral colour all over lids

- next a soft pink colour (as its great with brown eyes) on to lids and just above the crease

- next a soft grey colour up to crease on lid and under eye (on outer edge only)

- next a black colour just along the outer edge of eye (both ontop and underneath) this should be just a thin line along your eye liner line (definitely not upto crease)

- finally add mascara

- for an extra sparkly touch add sparkle liner along the top of eye where you originally put your black eye liner. (u can get this online from avon (avon combo of sparkle clear liner and mascara) its great for xmas

hope that all made sense, if not post a note and ill try to make it clearer...definitely have a go tho coz you'll find you'll love it...i wear mine like this most weekends when I'm out...guarantee you'll get loads of comments asking how you did it so you can pass on this info too.

Green or red dress. You could even get away with brown or pink. Since your taller you should go with a medium/long dress. If you need more help try watching TLC's " What Not To Wear". Don't go with a baggy dress,try a dress that will fit closer to your body.

By your description your the same height as me, and I know how hard it can be to find dresses long enough and such. I have a winter formal around the same time and I already got my dress. I went for a black dress, comes down to about the knees, has a v-neck and then gold designs all over it. You can come up with a lot of images for that one, but it is very classy and gorgeous. Im also fair skinned, and I think the black looks great on me. Best of luck!

Hi. I loved winter formal. I think what you should do is get a dress that is sinched at the waist. Like the material is pulling from left to right. That way if you don't feel so "YAY MY BODY IS AWESOME" that night you have no reason to worry. Get your dress above the knees your about my height so your pretty tall. It will show off your legs. The color is a hard one. I have brown hair too but blue eyes I wore a black dress to winter formal and a green sage color dress to homecoming. If you have a favorite color that looks great on you try to find a dress in that color. I hope this helps. Have fun!!

from answering your many questions, i understand you i guess very much. but i will just tell you what i think. i will wear something that is very cute but also comfortable. the first day of school is such a hassle that high heels and uncomfortable clothing or accessories are a big fat no-no. and trust me, there are a lot of clothing that's comfortable AND "in." abercrombie is awesome. their clothing and accessories are comfortable and fashionable at the same time. it really helps. a tip: buy the winter coat and jackets now cause as the weather gets colder, they will raise the price cause they know that everyone wants them.

like omg! i'm going into the seventhy grade too and i loove fashion! heres a suggestion.... wear a long flowyish shirt or a tunic in a brightcolor such as hot pink or blue over black leggings. try putting a black belt over the tunic. i also suggest a beaded necklace in a bright color with blackballet flats. or if you wanna go for something more casual... you can go for this..... a abercrombie tank with a distressed shrunken jacket buttoned over it. try pairing it with jeans or a mini skirt in the same color as the jacket. add a pair of flipflops or flats. try bright colors. they will go best with your brown hair and skin. brown dosent look as good on you with your nuetral features. i hope you look stylin on the first day of skool!

well if you really want to go edgy, and you have a lot of thick, volumous hair, i would go with a choppy look.

shorter layers up at the top, and long layers underneath.

and a straightener should help with your hair flipping out at the base.

be sure to buy a ceramic straightener though. they will cause much less damage than an old fashioned steel iron.

I am close to 6 months pregnant and am wanting to do something with this mess of a hair. I need a style that is not going to be high-maintenance. I am willing to get it cut short and wanting to get highlights redone. Right now it is medium brown with blondish highlights (they are almost all out). It is past my shoulders but because of the natural wave won't grow much more, I do not have any bangs cut. Like I said it has a natural wave to it. You may want to research or speak with your doctor because I've heard that certain chemicals in hair dye can be harmful to pregnant women. You do not want to negatively affect the health of your child.

As far as the cut is concerned you should look for pictures of hairstyles you like where the models have a similar face shape to yours. It has to complement your face shape and bone structure.

Should I completely change my look?

I'm a 20 year old guy and I am completely tired with the way I look. I've had a goatee for about two years and I'm thinking of getting rid of it. I changed my hairstyle from a little longer to about an inch long and I spike it up with gel now. I like the style I have now. My hair color use to be blonde when I was a kid, but it has turned into a medium shade of brown, and I don't like it as much. I'm thinking of either getting highlights put in my hair or just dying the entire thing to a lighter color. Should I shave off my goatee and get highlights or just dye the whole thing or should I just leave everything alone.

Unless you're trying to hide a weak chin, get rid of the goatee. I think they make most guys look like Satan (I hate soul patches too). I like the spiky-gel thing and I think lightlights are a great idea to add some excitement to your look. If you don't like it, your hair will always grow back! But at 20 you should have fun with experimenting with different looks.

How Damaging is Aveda Bleach?

I have my hair cut/coloured at an Aveda salon, and I want to lighten my (recently dyed) dark brown hair to a light-medium brown.

I know that the products are ~ 98% plant derived, and more gentle than other bleaching products, but will lightening my hair this much DRASTICALLY affect the health of my hair?!

OR, will it turn my hair an orange tinge because the bleach is gentler?!?!

(Also, I've been deep conditioning my hair for several weeks, and do not use much heat styling...)

What to do with wavy/curly hair ?

I have dark wavy/curly hair and it is medium in thickness, but far from thin. It is kind of wiry. Some strands are curlier than others but it's more overall wavy than curly. I wash my hair about every 3 days and I usually flat iron it. Do you know of any good styling products to define my curls that take away frizz and don't leave you with crunchy, sticky hair ?

I like Redkin products for my curly hair. There is shampoo/conditioner and leave in curl definer that doesn't leave your hair gooey or crunchy. You'd have to get it from your beautician. Good Luck!

I have the same hair use a good mouse. Brush your hair out with a paddle brush. I have great one I bought a while back it also also has porcelain around the edge. If you use shampoo from wal mart or other store the absolute best one is Treseme. If you can afford a more expensive shampoo try bed head. Achieving a look with your hair mean you have to start with great hair. So once your out of the shower towel dry your hair brush it then apply mouse and scrunch it not a lot of mouse just a little. I'm growing my hair out so that I can style it in a more feminen style. I want to style it in a page boy sort of like scully's hair on the ex-files. Is it just a standard set with medium size rollers? I was thinking about going to a hair salon but am a little shy about that.

your pictures show me you have the right length to work with to get the shall we say less styled look I would , with your head straight up cut all one length at the length it is now or just a little shorter not much. I would then undercut only to clean up the neckline and to show off the bluntness of the cut. I would thin out your hair where it is too heavy and then layer only about an inch from the bottom. this would give you the slightly messy look without loosing the overall shape of the style good luck my dear!!

You could probably blow it dry and use a curling iron to turn the ends under into a pageboy style. If you do choose to use rollers, depending on how easily your hair curls, you may want to use large rollers for a smoother look with just the ends turning under.

Forming cream can be applied on dry hair to create a messy look, can also be applied onto damp hair for a slicker more shiny look....

Just remember...if applied onto dry hair the finish will be pliable..which means you will be able to move the hair around (think of putting on a hat then taking it off...you would be able to restyle the hair)

This isn't very hard to do. I have my hair dyed red with almost white layer underneath. I do it myself with no problems or bleeding of color.

I would pull the top layer of hair up and pin it out of the way then dye the bottom black. I also use a plastic shopping bag as added protection on the top layer. It doesn't cover the roots but if your use a brush to apply the dye you will be fine. After you are finished with the dye job. Then use a pony tail holder or clips if your hair is short to keep the black hair separate from the rest. If your hair is long you can wrap it in a plastic bag. leaning forward use a brush to apply the bleach. If any bleach gets on the black hair wipe off all you can. Black hair is usually pretty resistant to black so it will have to be on there a while to do any damage. Even if the bleach does not say to use a cap it is fine to use a plastic bag as long as it is loose and there is room for air. You can tear a hole in the top if it makes you feel better. The bag will help avoid drips. Finish bleaching removal steps and your done.

I think less black is better, it will just look weird if you did it 50% blonde and 50% black; Proabably 75% blonde and just 25% black would look nice. I would say for you to tie your hair that you want blonde up and just leave the hair closer to the nape of your hair kinda messy so the dye job isn't too "perfect-looking". You would probably split this dye job into 2 separate times just so that the black won't accidentally run into the blonde part.

At the end, if you still decide you want more black, you can dye the blonde. But, if you dye your hair too much black near the bottom, you will HAVE to bleach it to get it blonde (which is a lot more damaging to your hair).

Hello, I'm 16 and I'm looking for a sort of messy/punkish/emoish style? Not quite sure, but I have medium-long dark, dark brown hair. I don't want to grow it out, and I don't really want to have it all cut short. However, I'm just looking for an uber awesome hairstyle. I don't mind dyeing it, in fact - I love multicolored hair. i would say do an asymmetrical choppy side band with choppy layers thru out! but the rest of the hair would be shorter than the bangs!

What haircut would look best?

Im tired of my hair and want to get it styled. Im brunnette and I guess I have medium length (like 5in. below shoulder) My hair is already strait but tends to get messed up and frizzy throughout the day. Im so tired of it and want something that is easy to keep up with but looks good. I also want it as long as possible. Any ideas? Ive tried going places but they always screw it up. I would really appreciate any help

i would recoment getting a simple layer cut that will look good just shook out real easy for anyone or a long bob, but for the messed up and frizzzy part i suggest a ceramic flat iron, for touch ups with good maintenance you'll only need to do it once a week i usually do my full beauty treatments on sundays i have found that a product called ION it is in a pink and white spray bottle its a heat protector before you flat iron you spray the strand of hair and then flat iron and continue that process, i never wore my hair down before trying this product because not only does it keep your hair from frizzing but it holds a straight shiny look for the longest everyone i no is addicted "you can find at sally beauty supply "and wrapping your hair at night also helps with tthe maintenance and frizzys

also twisitng your hair into type buns 2 on either side at night will result in the best natural waves that morning

NO MOUSE AND BLOWDRY EVERYMORNING- you'll dry your hair out and that much heat every morning will damage it,

K well you have a lot of choices...people with fair skin typically look good with bright color dresses [turquoises, light greens, pinks, any pastels because it won't make them look pale.] You said you were thinking of a dark green...that might be ok but it might make you look too 'washed out.' Here are a few dresses I would recommend. Since you said you were a little chubby, you might not wanna wear this strapless but its pretty anyway. Because you are a little chubby you might not want to have a short dress but if you want im sure you could pull the look off anyway! Ponytails always work. Or you can embrace your natural wavy hair and put a shine serum and slip on a headband. Nice and quick!

Ok, emergency hairdo tip, get a little Oil moisturizer and put it on the hair while it's wet. Brush it back into a pony tail (wherever on your head is ok) and clip your hair or bangs down with a cute hair clip that matches your clothes. let the back of your ponytail dry into a puff, honestly, those don't look bad at all. if it really bugs you, brush it and put some moisturizer or mousse on it.

I wear a ribbon that matches my clothes over my hair to keep it down when it's super frizzy.

I think this is a pretty fast fix, and they sell oil moisturizer (Luster's Pink is the best for frizz) in little purse-sized bottles so, you should be able to drop that and a travel brush in your purse/backpack/duffel etc.

Hey I'm a swimmer and i know what your talkin about. first with the nasty hair problem buy some swimming shampoo and conditionar it works great ( i have some ) a really quick easy way to put up your hair is to put it in a ponytail and then pull it up and clip it . it's so easy i do it all the time ... i hope my advice helped

Try nice choppy layers that are about shoulder length in a light caramel color with mocha layers. For makeup, try light pinks and browns. A pink glossy lip would be perfect! Wear a cute blouse with a matching flowy skirt. Top it off with a long dangling necklace and drop earrings. Don't forget a purse! A light caramel purse would tie the outfit together. Hope I helped!

well..it depends on if u want to keep your length..you could go with a medium funky layered look...maybe add some highlights....that is if you wish to change ur color...you could also go shorter...with an oval face you can do just about anything..try not to goo to terribly short ...and if you do decide to dye it be sure to be verry careful dying can be dangerous if you don't think it threw....for blue eyes u can go any color really..but be careful with blacks.....hope i helped...

You should try a drastic color change. A color that looks good on most people is dark red/auburn.
